It is dedicated to the success of each student based on the highest standards of excellence in education. Each student will be challenged to achieve mastery in all subject areas in an educational atmosphere that strives to build positive self-esteem, mutual respect for others, and life-long quest for learning.

Elmont Union Free School District - Located on the Queens/Nassau border, the Elmont Union Free School District is comprised of six elementary schools providing a comprehensive pre-kindergarten to sixth-grade program for children from varied backgrounds and international origins. Our educational approach focuses not only on meeting and exceeding state standards, but also on developing reasoning, decision-making, and citizenship skills in an environment that is safe and conducive to learning. School administrators maintain close partnerships with parents, community organizations and local elected officials as they prepare youngsters to take on the roles of citizen, neighbor and responsible, caring adult.

Valley Stream School District #13 - Valley Stream School District #13, believes that children should be at the center of the learning process. Children learn best by constructing new understanding of the world around them, its relationships and phenomena. This "constructivist" approach to student learning values pupils' points of view and encourages children to interact with the curriculum in personally meaningful ways. In this fashion, children become lifelong learners, well prepared for later school experiences as well as the adult work force.
