Inwood Schools - Programs to insure that each student in the Lawrence School District achieves his or her potential can be found at every grade level. Future goals adopted by the Board of Education recognize the importance of major economic, technological, and social changes and include steps to keep the staff members and students in the district prepared for the future. Elementary School Number 2 School(1-5) Number Two School, of the Lawrence Public Schools, is an elementary school, located in the community of Inwood, Long Island, New York. There are approximately 400 children, in grades 1-5, attending our school coming from culturally diverse backgrounds. We are a community of learners and take pride in striving for academic excellence.
