Oceanside Schools - To review programs, curriculum/instructional stategies and assessment tools in order to evaluate and improve the achievement of students with different ability levels as they work toward meeting the New York State Standards.  To continue and review guidance practices and procedures related to the college application process.  To develop a wellness program that addresses and promotes healthy options in terms of the nutritional, physical and emotional development of all students.  To implement a program for at risk secondary students who experience difficulty reaching their potential or performing to their ability level.  To increase the use of technology as an enhancement to student learing and as a management information tool.  To ensure that our facilities are adequate to meet the needs of all students.

Oceanside High School

Oceanside High School has existed on its current site since the dedication of the south wing of the building in 1955. The north wing was completed in 1963. Recent renovations have brought about the outstanding physical plant that now exists to serve the high school students and community of Oceanside. Currently utilized by more than 2000 students, 160 staff members, and dozens of auxiliary service employees, the school takes pride in its tradition of excellence and its ongoing accomplishments.

The North Oceanside Road School#5 is one of six first through sixth grades schools in the Oceanside School District. There are presently 506 students attending the school. We pride ourselves on developing a sense of family between school staff, parents and children.
